Exploring Yoga from the Outside In

There’s something special that happens when you step onto your mat. Sometimes it’s lighthearted; sometimes it’s deep. But when you show up with an open heart, yoga can be truly transformative.

I teach with the intention of helping you understand who you are and how you want to show up in the world—drawing from yoga philosophy, embodied awareness, and creative theming. My classes often include poetry and literary inspiration as a way to connect movement with meaning—offering language that helps us listen more closely to ourselves.

Yoga wasn’t always part of my life. As a busy mom and professional, I equated movement with productivity—long runs, fast workouts, checking boxes. Slow, mindful movement didn’t seem like it had anything to offer me. But something kept tugging. Maybe it was the stress of parenting through a medical crisis, or a quiet sense that I was out of sync with myself. That pull eventually led me to a workshop that opened the door to yoga as a path toward intentional living.

Since then, my practice—and my teaching—have grown in ways I never expected. Today, I lead classes and workshops in beautiful, unexpected spaces: on beaches, in gardens, libraries, and tennis courts. I work with students of all ages and experience levels, always honoring the whole person who arrives on the mat—body, mind, spirit, history, and hope.

I aim to create space for inquiry, grounding, and connection—whether we’re guided by breath, philosophy, or the power of a single line of poetry.

I’d love to practice with you.
